About Hi, I'm Monica
Award-winning first-generation entrepreneur. Tech company founder. Published author.
I'm Monica Jivnani, founder of MaMo TechnoLabs LLP, a CMMI Level 3 global IT company, and the author of three books. I've spent 15 years working in technology across India and international markets, moving through roles like developer, project manager, business development lead, delivery head, and public speaker. I manage 20+ global client accounts every year. And somehow, between all of that, I also write fiction.
How I Got Here
I was a quiet child, a bookworm who preferred a library corner over any crowd. Nobody who knew me growing up would have predicted I'd end up running a global technology company or speaking in front of rooms full of people. Honestly, I wouldn't have predicted it either. 2014. Today, I wear many hats from Developer and Product MVP Specialist to Delivery Head and Public Speaker guiding 20+ international client accounts annually and turning technological vision into market-ready strategy.
The shift started with a small, unexpected win. I entered an inter-school dance competition on impulse and came out victorious. That single experience changed the way I saw myself. It showed me that expression, in whatever form it takes, is a skill you can build, not a personality trait you either have or don't have. That realization pushed me toward grooming classes, communication training, and eventually a mentor who believed in me more than I did at the time. She steered me toward public speaking and sales roles. I was uncomfortable at first. Then, slowly, I wasn't.
I came into the technology industry through IT learning systems, writing code, and understanding how businesses actually work from the inside. Over the years, I moved through companies including SecureFlo.net, NetSet Software Solutions, and Cr8lead, gaining real experience in client management, international partnerships, and business development at every step. Each role taught me something that the one before it couldn't.
In 2014, I channelled everything I had built and founded MaMo TechnoLabs LLP in Vadodara. I put together the team, designed the processes, and grew the client relationships from nothing. Today, MaMo TechnoLabs holds a CMMI Level 3 certification, a globally recognized quality benchmark, and serves clients across 25+ countries in custom software, web, and mobile development, IT consulting, blockchain, and digital transformation. More than 80% of our business comes from repeat clients and referrals. That's the number I'm proudest of.
Somewhere in the middle of building a company, I also wrote three books: Arjun and the Women Who Waited, The Last Bloom Before The Fall, and Blindfolded. They are fiction, non t business titles. Writing them taught me patience and precision, two things that make me better at my day job too.
My Values
Real technology solves real problems
I've never been interested in tech for its own sake. The question I always start with is: what does the person using this actually need? The best projects I've been part of were the ones where we understood the human problem first and let that shape every technical decision. Getting it right takes time, but it's always a worthwhile investment.
Reinvention is not a crisis; it's the ultimate goal.
I've changed roles, changed cities, and learned entirely new skills more than once. Transitioning from an introverted bookworm to an entrepreneur and then to a public speaker was not a straightforward journey. I'm a genuine believer that growth lives outside your comfort zone, and I try to build that mindset into the teams I lead.
Clients aren't projects; they're partners
Over 80% of MaMo TechnoLabs' revenue comes from repeat clients and referrals. That doesn't happen by simply delivering a project on time. It happens by staying honest, caring about outcomes after the invoice is paid, and treating every client relationship like a long-term investment because it is.
Honest expression builds trust.
Whether I am leading a team meeting, writing a novel, or giving a talk, I say what I mean. I share the failures alongside the wins because that is what is actually useful for other people trying to find their way.
Why Work With Me
Most people who advise on technology have either deep technical knowledge or strong client-facing skills. Very few have both, and fewer still have spent 15+ years applying both simultaneously on live international accounts. That combination is what I bring to every engagement.
I specialize in product MVP strategy, figuring out the smallest, most valuable version of something and building that first. This approach safeguards your investment, validates your assumptions before you commit, and delivers a tangible product to users much more quickly. It's not a shortcut. It's the right sequence.
I've managed international client relationships continuously for over a decade across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and beyond. I understand how expectations differ across cultures, how to maintain trust when time zones create friction, and how to keep projects moving when communication gets complicated.
As Delivery Head and Managing Partner at MaMo TechnoLabs, I've built and led technical teams from the ground up. I know how to hire well, how to mentor people who are earlier in their careers, and how to create an environment where engineers do their best work. When you work with me, you get the team behind me, too.
A Few More Words About Myself
Radio Mirchi recognized me as a notable Woman Entrepreneur, which was a meaningful moment. But the things that stay with me longer are quieter: a developer on my team who went on to lead their project, a client who came back for a fourth engagement, and a reader who said one of my books put something into words they'd been carrying for years.
I also advise tech startups and SMEs on investment opportunities in India, helping founders who are earlier in their journey think clearly about where to put their energy and money. That work feels like a natural extension of everything I've learned.
If any part of what you've read here makes you think we might work well together, whether it's the technology side, the books, or just the story, I'd genuinely like to hear from you.
